The customer clicks on the refresh data button in the excel file and then logs on to db220 database the gets the error.
Error: Microsoft Visual Basic: run time error; 1004" general ODBC error >options end debug help.

With all the MS service packs who knows what may have caused this.

jsigmon, this is the third thread about excel and your database/network problems. Your posts are curt, do not give any information about the user environment, service pack levels or network protocols. What makes you think we can solve this without any interaction from you?
