HP Scanjet 5300c....Need Help

I'm using Windows NT and my scanjet program keeps popping look and starting without me clicking on the icon. Why is it doing this? Please help......

check the services panel. see if there is something in there that is starting the program automatically. disable it or move it to manual startup.

I went into Control Panel and Services but couldn't find anything about HP Scanjet. Do you have another suggestion.

You might want to check out HP's website for your ScanJet (http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpscanjet519276_swen.html). There are updates available there.

You might also try removing and then reloading the scanner software...

Thanks...I think I fix it...It was the automatic start button on the scanner
