i have recently purchased an asus z91n series notebook and even more recently a few of the keys started sqeaking when i press them. the buttons still work and everything but it is quite annoying. is there any way to lubricate it and stop the sqeaking?

Welcome to Windrivers interspective
A can of air might help - blow out any bits.. but no you must not lubricate them.

If this is brand new, its a fault on the machine and you need to contact the warranty providers before you do anything that might invalidate the warranty and cost you a tidy sum!

Welcome to WinDrivers, ajustador.
Strangely enough, your error means you have a stuck key:

Assuming it is giving a scancode, it would be the F4 key.
Try tapping or flicking, with your finger, the F4 key on the keyboard, before booting the system. It may be advantageous to hold it upside down also whilst jiggling or tapping the key. If it comes good, but keeps giving the error at future times, the internal mechanism for that key may be giving problems, or there may be some sticky material under the keytop.
If the 3e isn't a scancode, it may be another key, so if trying to free up F4 has no effect, similarly jiggle keys all over the keyboard before booting up & see if it frees up.
