I have an HP Photosmart photo printer but it can't print fluorescent colors. Can laser printers print fluorescent colors? What other types of printer can do that?

This is the about only thing I could find concerning colors: <a href="http://www.hp.com/cposupport/printers/support_doc/bpl08633.html" target="_blank">HP Color LaserJet Printers - Color Theory Overview</a>. Unfortunately, nothing refers to flourescent colors.

Also, this: <a href="http://www.hp.com/cposupport/pc_photography/support_doc/bpy20608.html" target="_blank">HP Photosmart P1000, P1100, 1000, 1115, 1200, and 1315 Series Printers - Print Quality Troubleshooting</a>.

Without special inks, fluorescent colors are out of the question. Even photo labs can't print fluorescent colors with a normal print operation. I had to take some auto pictures for a magazine and the only way I managed to have the colors come out was to take the pics with slide film, get them developed into the slides, and have a print made from the slide. It still wasn't exact but it was by far the closest thing going.

Okay, my first post. I remember seeing a special ink cartridge for HP printers that had flourescent colors in them.

Thanks but I don't see any fluorescent inks on that site, what is the exact URL?

a little over halfway down the page is a new venture for the f-80 flourescent pigment inkjet. you have to email them at service@neomark.net for more information. the only other place I saw with cartridges was in England, and they looked shady. if you need to print fluorescent then maybe a Canon bubblejet is what you need.
