I know this isnt windows related but Im sure that there are plently of techs with some apple experience.
A friend of mine has an apple powerpc, so its pre-usb and pre-g3. The owner wanted to get a scanner and printer for the mac. The scanner isnt too hard since the mac has scsi on it. However I cannot for the life of me find anywhere that has mac printers that use anything other than usb.
Any recommendations for where to look or any models to recommend???
Thanks in advance

Im sure if you look on Ebay you can find a good deal on an older printer that supports using the mac's printer port.

Thanks for the advice, but I already tried that. Unfortunately eBay only had USB and laserprinters for the apple. While laser printers are good printers there needs to be color printing done with the Mac.
Im thinking about going with an Epson but If anyone knows anything else I wouldnt mind hearing it so I can do some comparisons.
Thanks everyone

Do you know what model the Mac is? some of the pre-g3 macs have PCI slots in them, even the 5500/225 which is an all-in-one, but it has one PCI slot that you could get a USB/Firewire combo card for.
