Just came across a useful site: http://www.2manuals.com/
They have something like 1000 manuals available for download, and around 10,000 in stock. I needed a service manual on site yesterday for an LJ 2200 dtn, and I was able to download it in pdf format for $10.

Sometimes you can find what you need; other times, you can't.

It lists several manuals for the LJ 2200 Series including the User's Guide but not the service manual itself.
Parts listing for your LJ2200 Series here:
http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=modinfo&model=C7058A
It lists the service manual as being part number C7058-90980. Is this the p/n that you purchased? They also have a C7058-60118, HP Laser Jet LJ2200 series service and support CD-ROM for $22.00.
Just curious if the manual you found was an original HP manual or from a third-party.
