I have a linksys B router/acees point and have it sitting upstairs and I want to purchase a nother linksys G speedbooster and have it down stairs use it as a repeater so get a better single down stairs. What is the best way to sat this up. One is connected to my cable modem and I want the other one use a a repeater.

I wouldn't get a linksys G at all. If you combine G and B you will only get B performance. I would get a D-Link DWL800AP. I have used them in the past with great success.
