problem with pioneer dvd-RW dvr-108

My computer does not have my dvd rom listed as a drive letter any more under my computer. In Device Manager i get this message for it : Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41) I guess it somehow got erased from the registry. I tried to delete it and reinstall it but did not work. This happened after installing nero 7 i got from a friend.

PLEASE help!!!

If you didn't buy Nero 7 and your friend has bought it and registered it, Nero will assume it has been stolen. Have you uninstalled Nero?
