Tool Bars How The Hell

I have recently downloaded the Google tool bar as it has a spell check feature on it. But have recently purchased a copy of Windows XP made easy issue number 95 which had the attached article in.

I have tried the link mentioned and all is unable to find the web page in question.

How can I confirm that the tool bar that I have down loaded is legitimate
