So I think its retarded they don't provide any drivers (I have a windows 2003 server on my LAN, and I'll like to share the printer for other people to print to, but of course I can't b/c online the 750/950 series are listed).

I have an HP 1200 all-in-one. I installed the drivers from their site (not for 2003), and I was able to actually install each device using those drivers. But I was unable to set it up in the printers and faxes folder. I can't add it manually, b/c it doesn't like the driver.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
Josh

What kind of error messages are you getting? "doesn't like the driver" doesn't really tell us much.

Is your model the 1200 All-in-one (Europe) or one of these others?

Are all of your other users using 2003 Server also? If not, then maybe you could hook it up directly to one of those and then share from there. Just a suggestion.

Let us know how it ends up.

Well I know i could hook it up to another box, but my 2003 server will ALWAYS be on, so I'd like it to share the printer.

All of the drivers install correctly, when viewing device manager I can see all 4 drivers installed for the scanner/printer.

But the printer does not appear in the printers and faxes folder, so I'm unsure of what to do. Also, it is not the Europe one (I think), I bought it in the US.

I just thought it's not working b/c the HP drivers don't list 2003, but 2003 is so similar to XP I was hoping they would work.

Any ideas?

OK nevermind I got it working, I discovered you shouldn't try to install it over terminal services :)

When installing it via VNC by logging into the desktop, it worked fine. Thanks for the help!
