Ink cartridge change

I just changed my black ink cartridge in a hp psc 950. It keeps telling me to press enter to allign the cartridges. I have done this four times and it will do nothing else. Any suggestions.

is the cartridge firmly in place? I have done that in the past, in my haste, not placing the ink cartridge firmly in place.
