Explorer Hanging Periodically

Hello all, haven't posted for a while as,well, nothings been wrong :D

However.. Mrs Titchskis XP keeps hanging periodically - the toolbar disappears and the only way to bring it back is to Taskmanager, > quit explorer > run new instance of explorer.

I've ran AV scan, windows update, spyware checks - I even ran windows update, and the issue is still going on. Has anyone seen anything like this at all?

MS AntiSpyware and also Spybot S&D

I haven't gone so far as aHiJack This scan yet.. I was hoping it wasn't spyware related as I hate deciphering HT :(
