No PPPoEWin Protocol

Hello,

I am in desperate need of this protocol for Windows XP Pro and I have no idea how to get it. I have a Dell Inspiron 6000:

1.6 GHZ PM
768 Ram
60 Gig HD
Intel Integrated Video Card

My friend has this protocol and we both have the same computer yet I recently reformatted my computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's there, you just need to set it up properly. Use the network setup wizard, and after choosing "connect to the internet", choose manual next. On that page you'll see the choice for PPPoE.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I go to a boarding school so I am constantly on their network. They use Sprint as their ISP (if that helps at all).

I can't make a new connection as I can only use this school's connection. I'm asking this question because my friend has found a way to bypass the school's port blocking firewall and is able to play World of Warcraft. (They block all outgoing ports besides the basics).

When I was analyzing his connection, I noticed he had that protocol running and I did not. So I'm basically trying to mimic whatever he did to his connection to get it working. (He did it by accident so he can't recall his steps).

Sorry if it sounds confusing but I need to edit this network connection instead of making a new one. Thanks.
