I'm having trouble finding an answer to this problem.

A user has Office XP. She can't print from email messages fromOutlook. If I go to File, Print, the Printer selection is greyed out. If I choose Table Style (verses the default Memo Style) then the printer are no longer greyed out, but when I print, it prints out a view of the Inbox and its message subject lines, not the selected message.

If I simply hit the Print button, nothing happens. If I double click a message to view it and then go to File, Print - nothing happens.

I tried to update to Office XP SP3 but I get the message saying update has already been applied.

Can someone please help?

Remove and reinstall the default printer.

Thanks for the reply. The problem turned out to be a need the for this file:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c717d943-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&DisplayLang=en

I discovered it by searching for a solution to the machines other problems. Syetem Restore window was blank, Windows Update site was blank, some Control Panel items where blank, and Windows Media startup and gave an error. Loaded this scripten.exe and everything started working, including my print problem.

Glad you figured it out - though it might have helped to share this earlier.
