I don't know if I should post it here, but I have a Toshiba Tecra 8000 with a DVD Decoder card. In Windows XP, and Windows 2000 it works fine, but I want to put Windows 98SE on it. However, Windows 98 doesn't have the drivers for this card, neither do I, because I bought it second-hand.
Toshiba cannot deliver the drivers, so said the site, but I really want them.
Is there anyway I can get them here or somewhere else?
I already contactet the one I bought the laptop from, but he says he doesn't have it either.

Thanks in advance....

I suspect all you need is the proper video driver and then a dvd software program

Free dvd software can be found

Sounds like a new bios update is a/v and may help you.

I would advise you to stick with 2000 and XP, 98 is now obsolete, even critical patches will be discontinued in a couple of months. Also many newer apps don't even run on 98, they require 2000 or XP.
