Hi! I am plaannig to get a new TFT monitor in the coming week, I am looking at two particular model which I think only the response time is different do correct me if I'm wrong.

Viewsonic VX922: 2MS Response time http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/xseries/vx922/

Viewsonic VX924: 3MS Response time http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/xseries/vx924/

I there any other difference between these two models other than the respose time if so will they make a notable difference.

The VX922 is about £25 more expensive than the VX924.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Going by specifications, seems to be basically the same monitor with a faster panel. The major differences apart from pixel response speed seem to be what usually happens with a faster panel, the contrast and viewing angle are reduced a bit. (Down to 160 degree and 550:1 from 170 and 650.)

For myself, being used to a 25ms screen with 800:1 contrast, I'd save the money and be content with the 3ms model... :)

But if you want the absolute fastest for games & movies, then particularly the white-black-white response speed down from 5ms to 2ms is significant.

Agreed with Platypus, VX922 clearly is the better one.

Just a thought, is there somewhere you can see them operating side by side, to observe if you can see a difference between them?
