I installed the game fine, but upon trying to run the game I got the error that the "bink32.dll" file was missing.

After finding and copying this file over, I started getting a new message:

"The procedure entry point _BinkDX9SurfaceType@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll"

I'd really like some help here as I'm not sure what to do about this. I was looking forward to playing the game and now I'm just mad.

Try that thread, there seems to be very less on that error.

You could try updating to the latest DirectX9.0c http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/1/e/81ed90eb-dd87-4a23-aedc-298a9603b4e4/directx_9c_redist.exe

Thanks. I did check that forum already though. I originally searched for that problem and it brought me to this site which is why I joined, heh.

But yeah, it's not the exact same problem I've been having. That one seems to be dealing with installation and a window that pops up and refuses to close. I'm not having any problems like that.

I will probably try reinstalling Directx then, I've commonly had issues with my directx when trying to run games, even though my system and video card have always been pretty high end. I seem to have new pc problems popping up every single day, but I know they can be fixed....it's just that something else will go wrong hehe.
