sound chip trouble

Board: Asus A7V-VM 1.02
OS: ME

i have no sound, the only driver under sound video and game controllers is Crystal WDM Audio Codec (with a !), i think my problem is that i dont have an audio controller under display adapters, all i have there is Trident 9685/9680/9682/9385/9382/9385-1 PCI [Display adapter].

Please help, Cs 1.6 is wayyy harder without sounds

by the way the error message on the Crystal WDM Audio Codec is Code 10

there is no sound driver to update, none in sound video and game controllers or display adapters

i dont know how to just add a driver but i dont have a driver to update to the one you told me to download
