Tried a System Restore?

Honestly...I have no idea. Never saw that one before.

Double-click at the top of the task manager window, that should show everything again. You can toggle the menu's and tabs in task manager on and off by double-clicking in the area next to the tabs.

In your picture provided it would be in the blank area above mem usage.

Thank You I learned something new today.

I found this out by google and playing with Task manager.

If that don't work the only other fix is system restore as recommended by shamus.

Me too, never come across that before, I can't immediately see of what benefit it might be to be able to do this..............but it's nice to know that you can if you want to.

The only function I found is when it does not show the information tabs......

You can take you mouse pointer to the top or edges of task manager until it becomes a double arrow.

Then just like your desktop screen you can make it large or small,as if your minimizing or maximizing. You can then move it anywhere on the desktop as a very small box.

I will never use it but, perhaps it had a purpose.

Stop me I'm goofing around with it again.
