 Me again,

Ever since my HDD crashed and I got a new one and installed Win XP PRO SP2 back on it, every time I double click on a folder a new window pops up. If I have a lot of folders to go thru to get where I want to go, I have a whole desktop full of windows.

I've went to tools/folder options in explorer and it is set to open each folder in the same window. I went to folder options in control panel and it's set the same.

So why isn't windows listening to what it's told to do? :guns:

Click on my computer--Then go to tools-Then go to folder options--You should be able to set the options you want by selecting--Open each folder in the same window.

Is this what you have already tried?

I'm using the same mouse I was using before my HDD crashed and I had to get a new one. So, everything is installed fresh now.

Never mind I found the answer elsewhere. ;)

If anyone else is having this same prob the solution is here...

Open each folder in the same window:
