I just re-installed a copy version of XP. Everything fine but my Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) doesnt work.
Getting no sound, just static/crackle when I remove/plug back in my speakers. Also no sound when starting up.
Device Manager tells me that it is working properly. I went throught the Help and Support and it got me nowhere. Other than buying a new sound card, what can I do to get it to work?
My mother board is Intel
Product: SE440BX-3
Version: AA722396-300

This is mentioned a lot in web search{ES1371,ES1373}about installing XP on a computer with hardware that don't get supported properly.
The truth being told.I would invest 15-20 dollars or so and get a sound card.
