When i play a song in windows media player it gets softer and louder at random. I tried updating the sound card driver, removing all extra programs, a disk clean up and a windows update. It's still happening any IDeas?

Can you play them on another computer? Maybe the audio file is corrupt.

There is a volume levelling function in WMP; maybe worth checking that?
