I am using an old LaserWriterIInt on COM2. I do some work for a non profit and I fixed it up, it was a donation. I have no documentation and found little from apple.

It has an annoying feature. Every time I turn it on it prints a test page. I'm sure there is probably a way to turn this feature off.

If anybody knows or has documentation. I'd appreciate a hollar.

Thanks,
Bruce

I had this problem with a Xerox Laser. The setting is actually in the printer setup held on the printer.

When the printer powers up, hold down one the buttons on the printer (On-Line, Form Feed, Line Feed, etc) at a time and see if it prints out a menu system or printer setup.

If it does then try using the buttons to navigate round the menu/settings and try to changed the 'Print test page on Startup' or something like that.

If it isn't there then it must be on the windows setup. Try in control panel and see the properties for that printer.

Last of all, experiment.

Try this and C.
