Welcome to Windrivers Marc
I have moved this into Vista since it's not a standard driver issue.
Is this a Dell supplied Santa Cruz?
The chipset is Crystal CS4630 - you may be able to get some functionality using generic drivers. The Santa Cruz is a discontinued product (http://support.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/890117456.asp) and is no longer supported which means you are not going to see any drivers written by TurtleBeach for Vista.

Totally UNSUPPORTED on an *AS IS* basis.
Installing the Santa Cruz in Vista Beta 2 (Build 5219):
NOTE:
Installing the Santa Cruz in Windows Vista requires that
you have a separate Windows XP partition on your hard drive
1. Without the soundcard installed, install the latest drivers (sc_4193.exe)
from our web site - this will install all of the software, but the drivers
will fail. *** This is normal ***. Windows Vista is looking for digitally
signed drivers.
2. With the sc_4161s drivers installed on another Windows XP partition,
navigate to the Turtle Beach folder:
(x:\program files\turtlebeach\drivers\wdm)
and point the Add New Hardware wizard there manually.
3. It will then 'discover' other Santa Cruz devices. Follow the installation
prompts.
4. Finish
Enjoy it. Compliments of Turtle Beach Support Team but do not even think of
asking any questions about this. Thank you!

there is a bit more to that message (http://support.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/585218360.asp) If your build is 5600 then
UPDATE:
Using Santa Cruz sound card and Vista RC1 Build 5600:
- Drivers for sound card will load and the sound card works but the system
hangs up on a reboot. Have to do a restore point to system before driver
load.
- Refuses to load game port driver.

arrr yes but we are now at build 5728 and may now work we can but try and see....
With the SANTA CRUZ CARD still being one of the best imho maybe if enough people swamped tutle they may relent and give support even though the main driver writers have left "PEOPLE POWER" come on you all get asking....
I run XP PRO and have a nforce 2 mobo AN7 on board sound is soundstorm (supposed to be really good) but I have disabled this and are running Santa Cruz card with game port disabled as I use saitek usb pad anyway and I truly think it sounds much much better....

They said this about XP if I'm not mistaken (ye they did at that)

True - if they have a spare 5 mins they might whip up a proper driver if there is enough demand.
