Burning VCD with Nero

For the first time tonight I tried burning a vcd . The process went smoothly and the disk completed without any errors. Is there any reason why my ps2 dvd player wouldn't read it?

Because a VCD isn't a DVD....

PS2's won't read VCD's as said above. You need to burn as a DVD (even then it is not guarenteed to read copied discs).

You could try getting a cheap dvd player from ASDA (aka Walmart) - they play mostly everything.
