I have a hp p.c with a hp dvd writer 740b. I use sonic, convert to dvd and vsd gear. It used to burn dvd's but all I can do know is just convert them, then burn them..But the problem is that when I put them into dvd player the player won't play them. I can burn music files. The funny thing is that the computer used to say that there wasn't any disk in the tray even when I just put one in..Can someone help me..PLEASE..I only burned 3 movies so far and have alot more to go...

Might depend on what format the movies are.
What are they exactly
Home movies you shot yourself?

The format is what I download (avi, bin/cue,ect.) I'll convert them with vsd gear or other programs. But the wierd thing is that I used dvd decypher to rip a couple of movies and when they were done I couldn't copy them to a dvd. The computer kicked the dvd out and said to put in a blank media into the device. I think there is some kind of software that has been erased some how that helps the burner burn. It reads cd's and dvd's fine , it just won't fricking burn. Let me know if you need some more info..I'll check my e-mail often.
p.s I used p.c doctor to check my device and it had a problem with one of the tests. I'll see if I can attached it.. sorry I'll have to run another test.
