Ok I was in need of some help if anybody can help me. I recently purchased a brand new desktop computer. It came with Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7. It also came with AOL which I don't use. So when I got my DSL service my company told me to uninstall AOL and install the DSL. And after I did that I was unable to use my IE7. I have tried restoring my computer and it still want let me use IE7. I have een tried downloading IE7 and reinstalling IE7 and I am still unable to use IE7. I do have Netscape, and with having Netscape there are some programs that will not work. So I am unable to use some of my programs without IE7. So is there anybody out there that can help me solve this issue. I sure would be very glad if you can help me. Thanks for your help in advance.

What exactly happens when you try to launch IE7? Does it launch but not display a page or give an error message or anything?

When I try to launch IE7. It comes up in a small box and says IE has stopped working. It also says check online for solution and close the program. It also says close the program. I tried clicking on the one about check online for solution and it does nothing.

Are you able to get online with any alternate browsers like Firefox?

The only way that I can get online is by using Netscape. My IE7 nor my Firefox will work. The reason why I want my IE7 to work is becuase some of my programs require IE7. When I purchased my computer it came with an upgrade your Windows Vista Experience CD. Which my computer came with Windows Vista. If I use the cd will it solve my problem?

Did you try a system restore to a time before you installed the DSL?

I am not sure what that "Upgrade your Windows Vista Experience" CD's purpose is. I am almost tempted to say back up any data that you have put on there and restore the computer using the CDs or builtin computer restore program. Bring it back to factory settings. If your DSL modem is programmed your internet should still work.
