Hi, everyone!

Please, I need the right ScanPrisa 640P driver for Windows XP SP2 and, above all, I need to know why a simple procedure like installing a scanner can be so annoying. Am I missing something?

Here's what I have:
Intel Pentium D 3.4 Ghz
Intel DQ965F motherboard
Windows XP SP2
Acer ScanPrisa 640P connected to parallel port (bios setting: EPP)

Here's what I get:

"The following call failed at line 89 in
D:\Source\AspiTools32 V2.0\WnAspi32\MyArray.h

nIndex >=0 && nIndex < m_nSize"

"Reason: The operation completed succesfully"

And then, "RPC connection with ScanManager terminated abnormally"

Can anybody PLEASE help?

Here are the original drivers for that scanner since Benq bought out some acer stuff.
http://www.benq.us/support/downloads/downloads.cfm?product=27&page=downloads&dtype=D
Now whats going to be a problem is that XP hates parrelell scanners

THANK YOU

I downloaded two different files from that site. I think I have already tried one of them. Nevertheless, I'LL TRY AGAIN.

I think you also need to realize very few paralell scanners work in XP as well.
It may be you can just load the drivers only and use the xp scanner facil;ity in the control panel
