Hi everyone,

The problem I'm having is that whenever I log in as administrator on the server (running Windows Server 2003), it comes right up. However, if I try to log in as administrator on the individual XP workstations, it will take approximatly 30 minutes to 2 hours to come up. I am able to log in as other users on the workstations just fine, however.

Welcome to Windrivers jcantele

Are you logging in as a local administrator or as a domain administrator?

Domain administrator. Sorry for the delayed response.

Domain administrator. Sorry for the delayed response.
Wow it does take a long time for the logon to progress!!

Seriously though, have you tried the previous suggestions like creating a new profile?

What do you mean creating a new profile? I'm trying to get the administrator account to work. All of the other accounts work fine.

Setup a new domain administrator account and see if that logs in quicker.

It does work more quickly on other administrator accounts, but that does not resolve the problem with the original account, "Administrator," which we need to work.

Right, so it proves there is a corruption in the domain administrator account. Finding it is the hard part.

What service pack level have you got installed. There is a similar problem fixed with loading service pack 2
