During opening ceremonies at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, Korea, Blizzard Entertainment finally announced (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070519/20070519005007.html?.v=1) that the sequel (http://www.starcraft2.com/) to its phenomenally successful real-time strategy game Starcraft (http://www.blizzard.com/splash_starcraft.shtml) is currently under development.
Blizzard has also launched the Starcraft 2 official website with more info, screenshots and the cinematic trailer to the upcoming sci-fi RTS sequel. The web site contains an FAQ that reveals the game will be compatible with both Windows Vista and the older XP operating systems as well as the Macintosh.
