Seagate Tape Drive Scheduler and Windows 98

Is the Seagate Backup exe for 95 work in 98, or is there an upgrade. Is the problem with system agent in 95 and task scheduler in 98. Thanks

Can you run scheduler to run the Microsoft Backup? That program is by Seagate too....

The Seagate Backup Exec Scheduler does not work with Windows 98 Scheduling Agent. Seagate has the upgrade, for a price. http://www.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif You can schedule Backup Exec to load, but it won't automatically start and unload.

You have to get Backup Exec Desktop 98 for the Seagate scheduler to work under Win 98. Older version conflicts with Task Scheduler. Newer version can run right beside it with no problems..
