I've been using a Syquest EZFlyer 230MB parallel port drive for a couple of years on Win95 and Win98. But it won't install on my friend's new DELL Win98se computer, using the Syquest drivers engepath.exe (1.5MB) or engepst.exe (1.3MB)!
The install screen is different to a normal Syquest one - had the name of some other company. Then at the end of the installation, I got the blue screen of death and had to re-boot. This happened several times. Afterwards, the drive did appear as a SCSI device in Device Manager, but with a problem mark.
It didn't work with the Win95/98 driver either.
Has anyone got their EZFlyer 230MB talking to a Win98se computer through a parallel port?? HELP!
