I have a system that continually reboots within two to three minutes. Using msconfig, I narrowed the problem down to the Auto Update service. If I turn it off, the problem disappears. I cannot determine what file or files the auto update uses. I am in hopes that I can just copy the file(s) from a working system and then replace the obviously corrupt ones. Is this even possible?
Thanks in advance for any help and support......

There is a windows update fix out there that repairs the windows update system.
That may do it.
