I NEED HELP!!!!

My computer is a Dell Dimension 2300, with 256 mb, and 30Gb of space, i added the OSX "flyakite" recently, which resulted in a system faliure.
Now I can't access Windows, when I turn on the computer it flashes to a blue screen that says system faliure (with a bunch of letters and numbers) and no possible way to avoid it (the blue screen).
So are there any programs that will enable me to recover my files on my hard drive????

Thanks so much!!!!

You just need to do a repair install with the Dell OS CD. If you didn't get a cd with your dell, you need to call Dell and order one.

Boot from the XP cd and let setup run until it offers you to install windows or repair it. Choose to install windows (the first repair option is the command line recovery which is difficult to use). When it stops again, it should show you the partitions on your hard drive and offer a repair install or a fresh install. Choose the repair and XP will be reinstalled over the top. The only thing you will lose is your windows updates... unless you have any unforeseen problems with your hard drive.

You can also access your files just by removing the hard drive from the Dell and setting it as slave in another machine with XP - you can then copy your files across and that leaves you free to put the hard disk back and do a full format and reinstall of windows.
