[RESOLVED] Syquest EZflyer 230MB Removable Cartridge Hard Drive

Is it possible to install this on the same parallel port as my Epson 600 Color Printer and my Scanner which is Plustek Optic Pro 600P.

I've been given to understand that it is possible if I install the Syquest Removable Cartridge Hard Drive first, then the Scanner second and the printer last!

Would appreciate your comments.

I have always been under the impression that only 2 devives can run off of a single parallel port.

I would install a secondary LPT port ( they can be found for less than £15 ( $25 ). Better performance all round then

It should work fine off of the same printer port. I don't even think that the way you install it matters. Just connect them together and start up your os. If the don't show up change them around.

I myself have a printer (HP Deskjet), a scanner (HP Scanjet), and a zip drive all running off of the same port. Everything works great. There isn't even that much of a slow down on my zip drive.
