Does anyone out there know where to find drivers for Summit Tape Backups? This company has long since gone out of business and I can't seem to find a thread leading to anywhere that has drivers for thier products.
Thanks

I just wanted to comiserate with you... I used to WORK at Summit, I was there when it all fell apart, and the one thing I forgot to grab was a mess of Summit equipment. I did, however grab a TON of floppys to use for my own, they were mostly software for the very drive you own, but I didn't grab any of the hardware.

Funny thing, tho, I was walking thru a thrift store one day and I saw a drive that I had built laying in a bin of JUNK!!! I picked it up, and sure enough, my initials were on the QC label. Check the back of yours, it may be there too: RM. Probably illegible at best tho...

Problem is, even tho I bought it, I couldn't use it... by then, I had used every one of the disks I had grabbed for other things, and none of them had the original drivers on them. Of course, as you know, they are hard to find to this day. And I had hundreds of original copies direct from the factory.

So, I join your plea, and perhaps, if someone out there actually can point us in the right direction, someday I may reunite the software with it's long lost brother, the 3 1/4 inch floppy that still bears the original label if not in pristine condition, and we shall finally find true joy.

Until then...

Welcome to Windriver RM

6 years ago was the original post... I wonder if the one you picked up in the junk was the one general discord threw out ....?
