I just got a new computer. Everytime i try to install something from my CD-ROM on D drive my Floppy drive A makes noise and i get a "Windows - No Disk" message: "Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters" and some funny number and letter combo's at the end of the message.

It's running windows XP. I can browse the CD just fine and see all the contents on it. I tried installing the programs on another puter that has XP and they work fine....

Anyone encounter anything like this before and have some advice?

Welcome to Windrivers happygocampy

If you go into device manager and disable the floppy drive do you still get the message?
Do you have a builtin or usb card reader of some sort?
Are all your windows updates done?

download this (http://www.download.com/HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10379544.html) unzip it to its own directory e.g. c:\hijackthis and double click the hijackthis.exe file. Scan and report and then paste the report into a post.

I tried disabling the floppy drive. I get a message that sais something like "the file D:\CONFIG.SYS could not be opened". I would get this message as well as the first message before disabling the floppy too. But i don't get the other message at all after disabling.

I don't have a USB card, but interestingly enough when i look in the device manager i see under other devices "USB device" that is not working properly. I tried updating it's drive through the option in device manager but it found nothing. I guess maybe i have a builtin?

All windows updates are current.

Here's my hijack scan file:

OK, you didn't save hijackthis as I asked you to, you have it running from a temporary internet files directory which will make it difficult for you to find it again.

Secondly all your programs are running from E: drive. In my computer, what is on C: drive?

What demonstration/trial program are you running?

And what iomega product are you using?

What is the make and model of computer you have?

What is the error code on the USB device? (it's shown in the properties for the device - double click the device to see the properties sheet).

I got everything fixed up. Thanks NooNoo for taking the time to help out.

Basicly here's what happened. The person i got the puter from got a new Asus motherboard and a new tower, through it together with old parts that used IDE. All the old parts came from a motherboard that went bad and was frying the crap out of components. When i heard that i took out the CD-ROM, and the iomega zip drive (which showed up as the C drive.............). I installed a brand new Sata CD-ROM drive, reformatted and re-installed windows. Solved all the problems.

Again thanks for your time.
