I have a Colorado Memory Systems, Inc. QFA-700 Tape Backup System. I have had it running under Win95, but of course the DOS software is outdated for a Win95 system.
The drive is labeled as a Cipher Data Products ST350F, and there is a controller board labeled as a TC02 jumperless controller. The drive has a 50-pin connector that could possibly be a SCSI connector.
I would like to use the drive, and if possible the controller on my NT4 server. If the drive can be used as a SCSI, that's fine. But I'll need drivers for it. The manual says the tape's physical format is QIC-150. Logical data format is QIC-113, supports QIC-122 data compression, and QIC-112 ECC.
There is hints in the UNIX/XENIX software install manual that the drive can be used with the controller.
Any information is appreciated.
