I CANT REMEMBER MY PASSWORD .SO WHEN I START MY NOTEBOOK I CANT GET IN CAUSE IT IS ASKING FOR THE PASS WORD.CAN I JUST REBOOT THE OS AND START FROM SCRATCH .PLEAS4E HELP ME....:flames:

Are you referring to your password to get into Windows or something like a BIOS password that happens right on start up? Also what version of Windows? There are utilities out there that can reset windows passwords, but a BIOS password would be more difficult as you would have to reset the CMOS which is not very easy on most laptops.

If it is a Windows password you can try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 and if by chance the Administrator account is still enabled and has no password you can get in that way and reset your user account password.
