My LS120 drive will only work one time in about 4 or 5. When it works it's brilliant, but when it doesn't it just locks up the entire system requiring a power-off reboot. Is this question of a driver update, or have I got something set incorrectly in config.sys or elsewhere in the setup.

Check all of your LS 120 disks for errors. They have a tendency to develop bad sectors and the drive will stubbornly keep trying to read the bad sectors. This can go on for an eternity. Also, get a cleaner disk for the drive. They are very sensitive to dust. Hopes this helps.. BTW, if you are loading real mode drivers for the LS 120 via config.sys, this will realyy slow windows down to a crawl.
