I have a client with a server running NT 4.0 and he lost his tape drive drivers. I need the HP Colorado 5 GB internal tape drive drivers for NT 4.0. Been to HP's site, and they have the .sys file but not the .inf installation. NT is looking for the .inf. I tried using the generic IDE driver, and the tape drive was recognized in NT Backup, but I kept getting a message "Foreign Tape" and it told me to erase the tape. Tried that and got an error that it couldn't erase the tape. The machine used to have an HP TR4000 drive. Any help on the driver or am I missing something else? NT is not my forte as I don't have much occasion to work with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Charlie

Have them purchase Seagate Backup Exec for Windows NT Server. It will have the drivers in it, But the program is about $500 - $600.
It will do scheduled Backups.
