If your looking for something free that work with your tape drive try Microsoft Backup that is included as part of Win98 SE. It automatically recognizes most tape drives (Unless your running on a special controller) It's actually written (for/by) Seagate and out performes HP's software.

Guess what?? HP/Colorado Backup II for win 95/98 is identical to Seagate Desktop 98. It's gotta be the same proggy, or Seagate would be suing HP for copyright infringement.
