Anyone wanting a NAS storage box for their vista systems should take a look at the NexStar LX
I recently recently retired my V-Gear Landisk because the company has been dragging their feet too long getting the firmware updated to suit vista.
Trying to access the landisk directly out of network neighborhood always locked explorer up and required an ALT CNTRL DEL to release it. Very Very frustrating.
The NexStar was so easy to setup it was scary and it worked inside of 2 minutes of hooking it up. It also adopted all of the folders which were already there.
Nice unit for under 80 dollars
