Hi

We have an HP 500PS plotter which prints out autocad drawings fine. But when printing a pdf, even if the size of that pdf is smaller than a drawing, it always cuts off the last quarter of the document. I have tried different versions of adobe reader, I have upgraded the firmware of the plotter, I have tried from different PC's all with the latest plotter drivers and running XP but I always get the same problem. Can anyone help please??? I'm pulling out what's left of my hair!

Thanks

OK...is it only pdfs, or does it do it with jpgs or a big powerpoint slide? Are these pdfs protected in any way? can you cut and paste the contents to another document type?

Morning!

No it's only pdf's, though someone has since mentioned printing from cadcorp they had the same problem. It's weird, I am currently trying to change various options in adobe and printing again to seeif it helps!! And there are no security issues on the documents.

Heh the suspense... change a setting - print button, watch printer get to 3/4 the way down the page... will it do it this time??

You might see if there are print drivers for adobe for this plotter....

Nope! They've had the problem in cadcorp for ages, they just prefered to moan about it rather than actually report it to the Helpdesk!
