Ordered 2 cables for my client 10 days ago.
Contacted the company yesterday in order to track the package And they gave me wrong package #.
Package arrived today with wrong cables...So I wrote them an email.

Hello

Regarding order # 11398.
I was amazed to get my package at last today which was ordered on 12/12/07, With wrong contents (I ordered PS/2 extension cables and got USB ones), And that's after given the wrong tracking number yesterday by your representetive.
They say "Better late than never", But late AND wrong, Maybe never was better......
Because of this unfurtunate case, I've bought already the cables I needed at another place.
What Am I supposed to do with the wrong cables you sent me, Beside hanging myself ?

Please Advise

The Christians have tied up the mail with presents and cards.

It is a plot against non-Christians OR it is simply a lousy time of year to expect rapid delivery of items and/or correct item picking at any on-line shop since many many people are buying and many many on-line shops are selling and shipping, and all LATE!

Hey CCT :O)

I'm in Israel, So that might be true at a country that celebrate christmas, And not the country where people who created all the mess that created christmas live...
Here business as usual - Lame and slow...

LOL - so stock the extra cables and add 10% for aggravation to their cost - they will sell eventually.

:)

edit: I know this is a sad pun, but maybe you could 'Profit from the Prophet' so to speak.

Sure, Just trying to get a laugh from everyone (including bloody sender :O)
It all started when a client just wanted to move his computer 3 feet from where it is.....I wanted to send him just the cables that he will do it himself, And it became almost a 2 week saga, Which forced me to travel twice out of the city for these !@#!@ cables.
Eventually I was invited to do the job myself, Because he also had a SCSI 2 scanner that he wanted to move - So brilliant me, Sold him a serial 25 pin cable extension as an expensive 25$ SCSI 2 extension cable...SHAME ON ME :O)

I don't know about that last part - I have no knowledge about SCSI cabling 25 pin or otherwise - BUT, upping prices to cover losses would be a normal approach.

After I saw there is a problem to get some cables at a reasonable price (The cheapest power extension cable cost 8$...I used to throw cables like these to the garbage at the CRT screen days), I was sorry that I even suggested to help him getting the cables....
But just like in fairytales....Me and this client INVOICE lived happily everafter :O)

HipHoper, you like to come across as a tight-fisted shrewd client-screwing individual, but having read your posts etc, I think you just want the 'IMAGe' and believe me, you don't!

I think you got me all wrong. I like to save myself headaches and save money for the clients too, But when it comes to some problems that needed more energy focused toward solving them, I am willing to do it as long as is it beneficial to me. I think that I became selfish in the proper healthy amount, But you always have to check yourself...

Well...It's 5:40am...A good time to go to sleep :O)
