Where can I download a free driver for HP psc 1215 all-in-one printer that works with my Windows 98SE please? HP website doesn't offer drivers for Windows 98 or 98SE anymore. Please help asap. Thanks.

Welcome to Windrivers chris99

This is possibly the worst move HP ever made from the point of view of support. Your only option is to hope that someone somewhere uploaded the driver to a site. like this one (http://rudriver.com/printers/hewlett_packard/493download_prog.html) You need to click on "Скачать сейчас!" which is in blue immediately under the file details.

Driverguide posted 1315 model works with the 1215 model

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=20&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=374568&lang=en

Thank you but it doesn't matter which model it is, HP doesn't offer any driver for any printer model for Windows 98 or WindowsME anymore. This is their message when I clicked to the link you've provided:

" HP PSC 1315 ALL-IN-ONE

HP Products - Software Downloads and Replacement CDs Are No Longer Available for Windows 98, 98 SE, and Me

06-2007 N/A - 0 bytes "

Moderator or anyone else: have you ever tried the driver from the link that NooNoo has provided above and does that driver work without problems? Thanks.

Yah, we have been through that with OMG before...

I am the lead mod. The site I downloaded the file from has never let me down before. What I don't have is your printer to try it. Would it kill you to click the link (which is a direct link) and download the file? I have downloaded it and it seems to be good.

OMG did you read what he wrote? The file is a link to HP!!! The file is not held on Driverguides servers.... and frankly even if it was, it would be the LAST place I would download it from.

If you are saying that drivers held on windrivers servers are no good, we need to know that - which ones and what is the problem with them.

People upload all kinds of stuff on to Driver Guide and despite they say that they check the file, they often don't.

It isn't my printer, but the link you sent to the owner of the printer is NO GOOD since it just links TO HP. Read the last sentence 3 times, maybe you will understand then.

But you still won't admit that yet again you have posted bad information.

According to this site:

http://www.wikio.co.uk/guide/hp-4080.html

the Photosmart 1215 = PSC 1215.

If so, this may work:

But yes I'll admit NooNoo posts bad information! :uke:
At least I am "man" enough to apologise when I have.
