I had this issue with a Microtek ADF scanner few months ago, That when I've scanned multiple-page pdf, I couldn't see the first 1cm of the first page. After trying it with different drivers and adobe reader version, I gave up on this scanner and returned it to the company.
Lately I use Cutepdf as my printer, And it create pdf's of the pages I'm sending later for printing.
I've noticed that everytime I print few pages together (I select them with the mouse and print them by right-click and "print" selection), I am losing the 1st cm of the first page that's printed !!! Hmmmmm That sounds familier.....
First I thoght it has to do something with the pages sticking together,But then I've checked that I print them manually, All the pages are fine, So I guess it has to do with Adobe buffer or somthing like this.....
Just for your information...
