when I try to play the game it says failed to find any directx9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacture. This application will now terminate. Ive done everything ive updated drivers and I have a nvidia gefore 6200 card and everything is fine my specs meet req. and i just dont know what dto do can someone help me?

Hmm well what about the basics. Did you try using any patches for the game? Have you tried reinstalling the game? The other things I can possibly guess trying are change your desktop resolution to the same resolution you set to run the game in. Big question is did the game work before on this computer and if so what things have you removed/added/changed since the last time you played?

The 6200 is no longer on the list - it was for Sims 1 I believe.

One thing I would add - updating the motherboard chipset drivers BEFORE updating the video drivers might be beneficial.
