Vista scanner driver??

Friend just got new computer that, of course, is running Vista. Is there a compatible driver out there somewhere for a Plustek OpticPro 9630P scanner?? I know that it is a long shot but I told him I would try. Thanks for any help!

Unless Vista supports it natively Plustek do not have a driver (http://www.plustek.com/support/download-result.asp) and do not intend to write one. Sorry

I'm afraid you're out of luck on the Plustek, idahobooks, there is some aftermarket scanner software out there, but I don't know of any that supports the 9630P. I use VueScan (http://www.hamrick.com/)to run a couple of my older Epson scanners on my Vista computers, and I'm very happy with it.
