SB Live Platnium 5.1 question

Im considering gettin the SB LIVE Patnum 5.1
Does anyone know if the card has the SAME digital output that plugs into the back of my HOME THEATER reciever? Its the Dolby digital connection that you would otherwise plug into a DVD player. Most of these amplifiers have an Optical and Coax connection. If my PC could make a digital connection to my Surround Sound Home Theater...that would almost assure my purchase.
